I would loose what looks like tiny watermarks on the bottom left of the images on the back.

Back of Card CONFUSION! Help me Decide..

Hey Folks,

I'm having trouble with the BACK of my card. I would like to keep the black bar with my name on the right as it is but my contact info & website are debatable.

Please choose one, provide a reason for not the other and by all means throw suggestions for alternative placements/ideas? Thanks so much!

Fair point. I thought having an email on your business card was standard practice? The only thing that bothers me is the redundancy of saadphotography.ca in the email and the website right next to each other. Any other placements you would recommend or any other ideas?

I like this front. One point... I am not normally one to get all worked over e-mail names, but I have to draw the line someplace, and "hows_my_flying" is it. That's just a little too casual.

E-mail is 50/50. I include it for convenience sake. Their convenience. I just started an engineering business and I can envision times when they might have already viewed the website and some time has elapsed before they want to contact me and all they can find is my card. To the "busy person" having to go through the extra steps to find my website online and all that that entails is a frustration and unnecessary time wasted. No, it's not a huge amount of extra work for them, but the Type A personality thinks it is and I don't want them getting frustrated. I just want them to contact me and pay me for my services.

Maybe a little less directly related for a photography business, as you'd think they'd want to be viewing the website for reference when they e-mail, but you never know.

As far as "www"... don't overestimate the world. You know it's not necessary. I know it's not necessary. You'd be surprised how web-illiterate so many people really are. The web-savvy person will probably never give it a second thought either way. The non-web-savvy person will sit there confused.

Alright thanks! My father suggested me to make my name even bigger and put it more to the center. This email is the one I use everyday, it's better than cyyzfreak@yahoo.com (external link) :S

I did make a new yahoo account with my name except I don't use that...

What logo? :o

Not a fan of your e-mail "name". What ever you do about the e-mail, I suggest moving it inline to your name. In other words, make the left margins on both your name and your e-mail the same. Then make sure your website is right-justified to match to the left margin. Make sense?

If I had to pick, it would be version 1 because it is better balanced instead of having all the info in the middle.

What logo? All I see is your company name, assuming you actually have a legal business. A logo is usually more than just your business/company name. Though your email address and photo web address aren't very business-like. People may not understand the underscores in your email address and you may not get some emails because of bouncing back to the sender, then the sender gets frustrated and doesn't try again.

I removed the logo, it was the flickr one.
I am not sure if this even fits here but I want a card just to show people where my photos are. I am 13 so too young for a business!

I'm going to respectfully disagree with your father. The size of your name suits the size of the image, plus the left justification balances the sun in the image. I like those aspects as is.

All I have to say is that you have a great head start especially being on a popular forum and asking for C&C.

That's the same reason I wanted cards made. Well, not the age factor, but certainly because I don't do this for profit. I went with Mini-Moo cards because they are fun. I've posted this once before (last year) but I'm sharing it again so you can get an idea. They actually print out darker than you'd think, keep that in mind when selecting which photo(s) you want to use. They are inexpensive and about 1"x3", small enough that I keep some in my camera bag and some in my purse.
