Hey guys, I'm doing some new business cards, let me know your impression. They'll be printed on 16pts matte paper, with spot UV (glossy) on all lettering (front and back).

If it were me, I would not put a web address to a facebook page on a business card if I had a website. Facebook is limited but it's your website that can be more extensive with letting the visitor see more about you and what you have to offer. Let your visitors find your facebook page from a badge link on your website I say.

Same here, also Facebook reduces quality so much, it really turns a nice picture into crap. Oh and did I mention that everybody can now download everyone's picture easily?

I have had a lot of requests for my FB address, which is why I put it on these cards. And I don't mind it one bit.

As for quality, if you know how to upload them properly (resizing and such) then there isn't really much of a problem.

And regarding download... Watermarks.

Simple. :D

I disagree, you even see major brands promoting their Facebook address on tv adverts these days because they recognise the fact that some people prefer to connect with a company in this way and it's very powerful for them when they do because of the way Facebook works.

I've even seen tv adverts promoting twitter pages too.

The days of directing clients just to your shiny portfolio website are well and truly behind us, give them the choice of how they want to connect with you and if that means putting a Facebook address on a business card I don't see anything wrong with that and some people may do very well from it whilst the traditional people are criticising it.

Nope I don't have my Facebook address on my cards but it's on my brochure with my blog and twitter address along with more traditional contact info.

With all of the feedback, I came up with this. What do you guys think?
I got a real email. Evened out both sides. Added Carbon Fiber Print Background.
The Photos are the not the final photos. Those are there just as a template. Also, this is wide due to the bleed line.
