Also, Dean, don't go glossy on both sides. Keep it matte.

Here's mine, looks pretty bad on the scan with all the artifacts but actually looks great in person.

Haha well, I had it the other way around first (short to long) with the planes also facing the other way, but then I figured it was obvious I was doing aviation photography since, well, it's all over my card, so I thought maybe it was better that I put all the other ones first to highlight them better ... did I think wrong? gareymartin.com

I could see having a set of landscape, a set of portrait, etc, and handing them out for the person or venue would best match the card. 5D Mark III | EF 50 ƒ/1.4, EF 24-105L ƒ/4, EF 70-200L ƒ/2.8 IS II, EF 16-35L ƒ/2.8 II, MP-E65, EF 100L ƒ/2.8 IS Macro | 600EX-RT, 320EX, MT-24EX

If you want to target different groups, have separate websites for portraits than for outdoor landscapes as the two markets are very, very different for buyers. Be the photograher that specializes in shooting people instead of one who does many types, as far as a client is concerned. They'll have piece of mind knowing you concentrate in what service you get getting from them instead of a little bit of everything.

With technology being so cheap these days that could actually be very easy to pull off. I might try it. I already own several domain names that are related to photography. 5D Mark III | EF 50 ƒ/1.4, EF 24-105L ƒ/4, EF 70-200L ƒ/2.8 IS II, EF 16-35L ƒ/2.8 II, MP-E65, EF 100L ƒ/2.8 IS Macro | 600EX-RT, 320EX, MT-24EX

I don't have picture of my old cards that I essentially have come to hate, and i'm looking for some advice before I print the new ones..... I was thinking about printing them on a pearlecent (sp?) paper. I liked the idea of cotton and plastic but both were way out of my budget. either the pearl or possibly a thicker stock with the camera embossed, maybe uv spotting.... I was so sure until I saw all of the options now I've turned into a total woman... :P Back

I was like i'm a photographer... it's a camera? I call thyself Caffeine... so there's a coffee cup in it? Can I get more clear? soo opinions on that as well? thanks!I agree 100% with your web designer. Get rid of the cheesy-looking camera. Better yet, if you're hiring a web designer, find a good graphic designer too. Images in the Backcountry
