Photographer business card don't have stuffy, expansive and soul-crushingly dull. Photography business card designing time, choose an iconic image that really represents your style, the font on your cards may seem like a trivial detail.

Thanks very much! Since photography is only a piece of the pie the cards had to reflect our graphics design background as well. Plus I'm a big believer in b-cards reflecting the style of your work, be it photography, graphics style, personality, etc.

I'm just starting out and needed cards in a hurry, so mine currently is a standard from Vistaprint.

I'm actually thinking of taking the advice of my tutor who suggested postcards with examples of my work on it. I like that idea, it gives clients a quick idea of my style.

What do you think?

Enjoying this forum, BTW :)

Postcards are a great idea. Buying them from VistaPrint is not. Check out gotprint.com

So I'm looking at adding a few cards to my design portfolio. If anyone is in need of a new business card, throw me a PM with your info/ideas/details of what you want on the card and I'll do them (free of charge). I'd also prefer to see some reputable photography to associate this card with :)

Here is an example of one that I did for someone, and my old business card.

My new business cards arrived today. High gloss laminated fronts, non laminated backs (allowing people to write on the backs if required).

Excuse the cork board background.
