Thanks for the information! Order online for pick up in store. Had to put it in my cart, log in, etc. Printed out the documents and headed out to Best Buy to return the T3 I bought last week for $100 less. Best Buy matched the price, I paid the extra $100 for a far better camera. Winning, :-)

Hmm.. when I drop the model # into best buy, it comes back with the 18-135 lens instead... which did you end up with??

I was looking into the CLP program to get a 60D bundle or T3i kit, or a 60D body WITH a T1i bundle but I'd rather do this + the 60D!

I was about to say, it won't work for me since I'm no longer near a Fry's...... BUT:

What is considered a local retail competitor?
A local retail competitor for retail store purchases is a retail store located in the same market area (within a 25 mile radius) of your local Best Buy store. A local retail competitor for BestBuy.com purchases is a retail store located in the same market area (within a 25 mile radius) as either the billing address or the shipping address on record for the purchase.

So... get it price matched with BestBuy.com & use my old billing address near Fry's (ugh, looks like I'll have to change the address back for this) & just do store pickup.. Bingo!

bw!
