not sure where this shot belongs?? the fence is still little more blurry than i had liked.. i used a larger appature so any other suggestions?

nice perspective and composition. just a fyi...f/29 is a considered a small aperture, large is going the other way, on that lens toward f/3.5

Focus Stacking should give you the depth of field (Re: through the knothole)

I suggest you do what is sometimes done in macrophotography because macrophotography often has a very narrow depth of field. Use a tripod and do focus stacking (external link) with one of the focus stacking programs listed in the Wikipedia link. Just two shots may be enough to get the depth of field you want. In fact, with some Photoshop skills, you may not even need a dedicated focus stacking program.

As the Wikipedia article notes, "Focus stacking also allows generation of images physically impossible with normal imaging equipment".

I like the concept.. The colors work well too. Have you thought about shooting the photo so that you can't see the upper edge of the fence (and thus the overexposed sky)?

effae.. yes i went back and did acouple of other shots with out the top of the fence.. i wasnt really happy with them tho.. will go back and look at them .. maybe crop it out?

Jim.. havent ever gone stacking but will also give that a try too.. yes i have a tipod

I like the shot as well however I'm thinking a wider aperture would have made that knot hole less evasive. There's a lot going on with that hole and it may be taking away a bit from the wheel barrel. Great concept though.
