...of me and my now fiancé

I put the camera on AV for him and set the ISO and aperture and he did the rest. They may not be professional quality, but I think he did a pretty good job and I'm certainly happy to have the photos.

I think she was surprised

I think he did an excellent job! You should be very happy that you had him there to get these shots of a great moment in your life.

From a very new newlywed, CONGRATULATIONS! :)

Well, good on you both.

And....judging from that last picture there will be NO photo equipment upgrades in your near future cause you're broke!

He did a good job capturing the moment. The first shot is a little wide. I really like the feel of the last one. You owe him a beer for capturing that moment for you.

Congrats on the engagement.

 Thanks. I'll definitely be putting off upgrading my body and getting a 70-200 IS II till after next summer, but that will be more because of the wedding than the ring.

Thank you. I was really pleased that he got her facial expression like he did on the first one, but my first thought was that it was a touch wide as well. The beer was purchased and consumed that night haha.

How fun to capture moments like these, I love the first pic just because of how you captured the glee in her face.

As excited as she was for me asking her, she may have been just as excited to have pictures of it.

The first image is my favorite because of her facial expression as well. I wish he had been a bit closer, but I can easily crop it down.
