Any S.E. Michiganders (or anyone else) interested in getting together for a meet-up sometime later this spring or summer? I was reading couple of threads for meet-ups on other states, and thoght it might be kinda cool to get together with fellow shooters in this area and do something we might not do ourselves.

Be a great chance to meet and get to know other "locals" here on POTN and have some fun. Open for ideas on where and what to shoot, I know there are all kinds of interesting things in this area.

Your thoughts....

I'm in Ontario, about an hour from Detroit.

I posted in THIS thread about the Detroit Chevrolet Belle Isle Grand Prix event that's happening at the beginning of June.

Go to Michigan a couple of times a year for business. Bringing my gear this time. Downtown for Auto Show a couple of days, then in Dearborn. Will have a car mid way through my trip. Mostly nightshooting as I work during the day.

Any recommendations for places to see and shoot?

Thanks!

Going to the auto show as well at some point. You could go and get some pictures of the bridge to Windsor--though unsure of where you're allowed to get good shots. Frankenmuth is always fun for taking pictures. The Dunes are always worth stopping at if you're driving to the western coastline for some reason.

Hey can anyone give me any tips and such on visiting the Michigan central station? Like is it still possible to get in there? and if so how? Also Lee plaza, farwell building, vanity ballroom, woodward ave presbyterian church. Just wondering if these places still have ways of getting in because as a beginner urban explorer, I really want to check this out, any help would be much appreciated!

I can't help regarding getting into the buildings, but in the spirit of "any help" I can tell you that there's no way that I'd explore anything in Detroit all by myself. ; )
