Alright, finally managed to get a picture of my other cat before she ran for cover (usually whenever the camera comes out), played in photoshop for a while before I got something that I thought was ok:

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'image/gif' | Byte size: ZERO | PHOTOBUCKET ERROR IMAGE

BTW The reason she was squinting was that I had just fired off the flash for a different (messed up) shot before and she was still recovering, just those two shots and she was gone (came back out to eat though )

EDIT: Sorry about the size, I resized based on my moniter, and forgot that it should have been 800px, not 1024px - i'll fix it when I can get to the file, probably in the morning or afternoon

Nice capture Jonathan, the focus appears to be just on the cat's eyes the depth of field seems shallow, but that may have been your design. I like your composition and the use of the black background (must have had the camera synched to the flash speed.)

Thanks, and yes that was shot when I was messing with the flash and how to make the background 'dissapear', however I must admit the DOF was faked, it was low to start, but I decided to try and make it lower. Oh and the background was a leather chair that she loves to sit on.
