Lens Choice for a 21st Event

It's been a while since I've last shot an event, and now that I've recently purchased my 5D3, I'm stuck when it comes to lens choice. The 21st will be in a hall, at approximately ~7pm - midnight.

I plan on taking my Blackrapid DR-2 which will be strapped to my 7D and 5D3 bodies.

Now, for the lens choices.

a) 5d3 + 24-105L / 7D + 70-200 2.8 IS II
b) 5d3 + 70-200 2.8 IS II / 7D + 24-105
c) 7D + Tokina 11-16 2.8 / 5D3 + 70-200 IS II
d) 7D + 17-55 2.8 / 5D3 + 70-200 IS II

EDIT: I've also got a Sigma 30 1.4, but I'm not sure if that will prove useful.

I'll also be using a 580EX II on each of the bodies, one with a stofen diffusion, and the other with a gary fong collapsible. I once again have to choose between which diffuser goes onto which body.

If you guys could shed some light, it would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I think I've now narrowed it down to option a) and d)

I'm thinking about D, 200mm is usually long enough for me at my building hall, and you got f/2.8 on the wide side. You got flash on each body too, so you shouldn't had any problem with light.

well, from your choices (a to d) it looks the 70-200 is going. i like either a or d, and am leaning toward d.

Go with D for sure.

Mix and match lens to body; probably minimal need for the 70-200 2.8 IS in a hall....

24-105L and Tokina 11-16 2.8

I agree that D is a good option, but at the same time, for group shots of ~4-5 people, I feel that the 24-105 + 5d3 combo may be more ideal in terms of iso performance. what do you guys think?
