I like the composition. I like the shots. I like the processing. I like the simpleness. Very good work.

Really like the compositions, shadows and lines here. #1 is the standout for me, as the circular patterns on the ground and umbrella are a nice complement to one another. 4, 5, and 7 are great captures--they tell everyday anonymous stories which are effectively rendered in b&w. More specifically: #5-the shadow absolutely makes the image-nice rendering, and the change in contrast from the rest of the photo adds interest. Excellent timing on #7.

A few suggestions: I'd love to see some selective burning, bump in structure or bump in contrast on #1. The patterns and weathered pavement would add something to the image that is a bit more difficult to discern as it is currently exposed, though that might have been your intent. Consider cropping #4 a little tighter, as the top edge of the frame and lower right with the faded line contain some elements of distraction that move my eye from the umbrellas leaning against each other and the lines of the crosswalk which are the focal point of the photo. You might consider cloning out the cracks (something else?) at mid right on that image as well.

Nice series. I'm headed to your flickr now :)

Thanks a lot , really appreciate the C&C . I agree about #4 , but it's slightly OOF :D that's why i tried to add a few textures / layers and didn't crop it . and yes , i should start doing some burning / healing and dodging , i've never tried any of those .
