So I was out taking landscape photos of the wind turbines in Solano County California today when I see for my first time ever, an owl in the wild. He landed on what's left of an old windmill.
So I got several similar shots, and remembered I had a polarizer on my lens. Just as I started fiddling with it to remove it, the owl bolted, and I missed a great opportunity. Three seconds earlier and this could have been one of the best shots I ever got in my life! As it is...well at least I saw my first owl in the wild today!
