I have this lens on my T2I, right now, but in using it, I feel I need a bit more reach, but with similar Wide angle, if that is possible.

Thoughts?

My first good lens was the 28-135 and I felt it wasn't wide enough for my needs where 135 was plenty. For you however your only options are what has been mentioned. Canon 18-200 would be a best bet.

I would guess that you didn't read the post- eh ?

I believe he's looking for a 28-135 replacement with a bit more reach ( aka focal length ). Unless you are in some weird part of the universe where 105 is more than 135..

Get a 55-250 and swap lenses, or get the 18-200 for an all in one.

It sounds like you are looking for a single-can-do-everything lens. If this is true, the Canon 18-200 is pretty much your best bet. But while the 18-200 has the focal range you are looking for in a single lens, it has drawbacks. One of the best features of the SLR camera is interchangable lenses.

What about on the 5D3? Something longer than the 24-105? Have my L's.....16-35II, 24-70 L, 70-200 II but I want a decent lens for walking but something with more range than the 24-105.

Not many options here. Either the Canon 28-300mmL (which is quite expensive and heavy), or the Tamron version. The 28-135mm will give you a little more reach than the 24-105L, but the difference between 105mm and 135mm isn't much.

Personally, I wouldn't want an under performing superzoom on a 5D3.
