Sort of a novice here but would appreciate any advice on taking pictures of today's solar eclipse. I am located in Southern California and I understand the Eclipse will begin here sometime after 5:00 pm. Beautiful day and barely a cloud in the sky and I understand So. Cal. will have a good view of the event.
My equipment: Canon 60D. Lens options I have are Canon 70-300mm L; Canon 24-105mm and also have a Canon 10-22mm. I'm guessing the 70-300mm L might be the best option but not certain. I also have a very good tripod.
Any advice on what the best settings might be and/or anything else is greatly appreciated.
Thank You.
