The light was hideous and just in time for the show I picked up a virus which means that I could not attend on Sunday as well as Saturday even though I had a ticket (grrr) and I found holding the 500 for extended periods a chore (which I usually don't) and I had to keep blowing my nose (double grrr).

Right - that's my whinge fest over....lol.

Did get a few shots, but I wanted to post these up separately as, for me, this guy's display was the highlight of the show - which is odd, as usually I'm a fast jet kind of person - but Tony Blair's display was just simply stunning.

The sounds from the crowd as he pulled out damned late from loops (I swear his prop must have trimmed back the grass), just above the ground, really emphasised how much his display totally engaged the crowd. (Unfortunately I totally missed the extremely low pull out due to blowing my honker - ah well).

Anyhow, I hope I have done him and his expert craftsmanship some justice with these.

Great shots! You did a really good job at capturing the motion of a plane so its easy to see this must have been quite a show. #2 is my favorite!

Nice Andrew, did you get any of the C130H yesterday? I just had a look at the gopro fotage from the captain. I know the crew are keen to see anything from will probably be the last display for the type.

Thank you. I wasn't there yesterday, unfortunately, did the C130H fly? I mean, if the crew are after a photo set they are free to contact me as I'd be more than happy to oblige (indeed, it would be an honour).

Ah, thanks Dave - no black limos parking up outside yet, lol.

I have, however, had Tony in contact with me concerning these images and he has linked to them via Twitter (and via his site's Twitter feed) and posted them on FB, which I'm thrilled about, in truth. I'm trying to get to see him display again as I would like get a set together when I'm on the ball and not ill.

Just about to pop on a set dedicated to the F18's.

Recommend me a waterproof camera. ;)
