I took this image during the coldest day of the year so far in Florida last December. It was roughly 40-45 degrees when I took this. I think you can feel the coldness in this guys face. I decided to crop this a bit different to show more height and give a nice environmental feel to it.

7D. 600mm. f/5.6. iso 800. 1/2500. handheld from boat.

Jason very nice Barred Owl image. While a support your height crop I would have left more space above the owl's head IMHO as it seems very tight to the top of the frame.
