<edit> thanks for the comments everyone. Pics were shot using a NEX-5N with Zeiss 18mm ZM and Sigma 30mm.

I am an older architectural home lover, so I am biased, and therefore cannot tell you how great this excellent photo looks. I would like to see a darker shot, perhaps nighttime :) Also, I think the crop could be a little wider sort of like a pano version? more off the top, less from the sides?

Nice! I really like the texture and the tones in the wood and dead vines. This is great subject! What would it look like if the sky were more gray? Spooky? I agree with Gojira, the left is cropped a bit too close and maybe go back at twilight.

I hate for what I said to sound cliche, but I personally enjoy things on a darker note :)

Thanks for the comments guys. I think I like the crop where it is but really wish I lived somewhere close to this so I could go back and reshoot. Here is another taken from the corn fields in back of the house.

another lover of old houses over here. have to agree with Gojira - wider crop would give more feel to it - the house is not so overwhelmingly interesting in details to make the whole pic.

oh, my, why I don't have money for a lighting equipment... and a car... echhh...

Looks like I had one more pic with a slightly wider angle but not of the same section of the house.

I like these shots too. Too bad you can't go back. I'd love to see some interior shots to see what the layout was inside and whether it had indoor plumbing or there was an outhouse.
Unusual that there were two chimneys. Maybe a fireplace and a wood-burning cooking stove inside?
