Very similar to the Pileated Woodpecker (except for the colouring) found around our parts.

Thanks to All for viewing & comments ;)

This bird is in the wild, we have them usually in the forested areas, but kind of hard to get good shots because the tend to stay high up the trees. This fellow came down low because of the fruiting fig tree.... I quickly took the shots since it was a rare opportunity.
