One of my "tilted bucket list " projects was to shoot the Watchman in Zion N.P. at first and last light. I tried to get the same spot, but this is a popular shooting spot, specially at these times of day (the bridge). C & C always welcome and respected. Al

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

You should sneak down to the water's edge if possible. You'd get the same view, with the water providing either foreground interest in motion or in reflection. Just my 2 cents though....

Great captures Al! I like both for different reasons... The first one I love the colors, the second for the DOF with the moutains in the background... Thanks for sharing...

Thanks for the great comments. If I were 40 or 50 years younger I might have thought about the "butt slide" down to the river and would have never considered the consequences of trying to get back up(very steep and slippery), but at my age, ahhhh wisdom, I wouldn't attempt it. Al

I do hope you make it there, Mike. Absolutely fantastic photo opp's and some real "raw" camping areas. Al
