I hate Best Buy but I'm going to post this anyway.

I just picked up an Eye-Fi Mobile X2 8GB card for $43.99 at a Best Buy store. They have it listed online here (external link) for $87.99 but when I called to set it aside for pick up she said it's on sale for $43.99. Sure enough, that's what I paid for it.

You probably can't get that deal online but if you're in the market for one and have a Best Buy store nearby, it's worth calling to see.

How is the write speed and transfer speed with these cards? Once I get my 60D, I was considering getting one of these but im not sure how good they are.

speed is good, not lightening fast but it works for me. I had the first generation and I totally noticed a good improvement in speed. 2 x 8gb for $44 ....that's a killer deal!

All the Eye-Fi cards are on sale if you find the right Best Buy. They are being discontinued at only some stores and those stores have them maked down until the stock is gone.
