I own a 35mmL and never use it wondered if I'd get more use out of the fish eye. Has anyone here bought the 8-15 and thought they'd not use it as much and use it a bunch or vice versa? If people say yes, then POTN is gonna have a 35Lmm lens on the buy market for a good price:)

Highly unlikely IMO. I have the 8-15 and it's a nice lens, but I very rarely use it. 35L is a very versatile, all-around lens - a fisheye is a one-trick pony.

Yeah, unless you know you shoot really wide and have a definite need, or just have cash to burn the 8-15L is probably not something you'd trade a 35L for normally. But who knows, maybe you would?

Of the RARE times that I have used a fish eye;

1) Rented - never
2) Borrowed - Once

Pretty much sums it up - was fun to use and could see purchasing an inexpensive MF lens
