My wife and I were out taking pictures today and came across an eagle and an osprey. She had the longer lens and was able to get a couple of good shots. They are not the sharpest and I may be a little biased but I like them anyhow. #1 and #2 are the same eagle and #3 is in a different location.

1.

3. If you notice there is a fish in the ospreys talon.

Edited to correct the mislabeling of an osprey as an eagle. Also, to change the 3rd shot to a less sharpened version.

The last one is an Osprey, not an Eagle.

Thanks for the clarification. You don't happen to know if eagles and ospreys get along? This osprey flew out of a known eagles nest in the area and in fact we had spotted an eagle flying out of it about 15 minutes prior (which is why we stopped to take pics in the first place)

i think you should try cranking up your exposure times for the BIF shots.

the osprey looks very cropped to me, or over-sharpened?

They've been known to spar. Territorial, especially if an Eagle gets too close to an Osprey nest.

Thanks for the comments. Not sure what she did in PP for the shots. She is new to all this and I will pass any comments, criticisms and tips on to her.

A quick check of her computer shows she had the sharpening and detail cranked right up. I have edited my original post to add a less sharpened version of the photo.
