Just wondering what the make-up consists of here on the business forum. I've seen similar polls in the past but it's been a while. So vote it up :)

Interesting......so far, people seem to be pretty evenly split with the exception of the "strictly hobbiest", which makes sense in the business forum. Would love to see more results :)

The numbers are telling me that those that enjoy this for a hobby are out shooting and not sitting in front of their computer.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Lol....isn't that the truth....as much as I enjoy being out shooting, I so often find myself behind the computer screen processing photos, placing orders, creating contracts, adding up my books, figuring out taxes, creating invoices, e-mailing potential clients, answering current client e-mails, following up on bad checks, checking in on advertising, paying bills, etc....

Tough question for me - I just moved! Over the last 5 yrs 99% of my income has come from photography so that's what I answered. Lately it's been mostly "business of photography."

Don't personally know any foreigners here who can earn all their income from photography....so I'll stay as a "happy and nicely successful" part-timer.
