First time Youth Soccer 5-6 year olds...

First time ever shooting soccer, also first time shooting with my 70-200 Non IS. Spur of the moment shoot, didn't clear out my memory card from yesterday and due to limited space I shot in jpeg....

I think that the colors are off a bit. White balance maybe, but something does not look as good as it could. You do not need IS for actions shots. I also agree with shooting lower. At 6'5" I am always on a knee when shooting from the sidelines.

The color does look off... Generally shooting Raw might prevent this issue since I can always correct the image.. I'll make sure to shoot raw next time... Kneeling is something I will definitely try...

I always shoot RAW, especially on days where the sun goes in and out, makes it easier to correct later on. I'm usually low too, but sometimes go high just for a bit. I've never shot small kids, but figure staying low is definitely better.

Oh, and he doesn't play with enough intensity... lol...
