New 50mm f/1.4 USM -- Yippee!

Not a great photo, I just had to play with it right away, though. My daughter playing the piano by the light of one 60-watt bulb in a lamp with an old-fashioned, amberish lampshade. Shot handheld in program mode at f/1.8 and 1/30 second, auto WB, partial metering, Parameter 1.

First shot with it, no great shakes, but I can't wait to spend some serious time with this lens over the next few weeks. The results I've seen posted here are tremendous.

Good pic. The 50mm f1.4 is really a life saver in dim light. It's soft at f1.4, of course, but sharpness improves from f2 up. Enjoy this little mighty lens.
