Happy Friday Everyone,

I'm looking for a shoulder bag to fit a 5DII gripped w/ a 50 1.4 mounted in shooting position and a 430 EX II in the bag. I was looking at backpacks but I find even carrying the Flipside 300 a pain sometimes on such small gear ...I've got bigger bags for all the bigger lenses but since this 50 1.4 is new I have it moving around in my backpacks a lot when it's mounted to my camera and it drives me nuts. I'm just looking for anything cheap and under $100 if possible even if it's used.

I was looking at:

Lowepro Exchange Messenger
Lowepro Classified 140 or 160 AW (depending on which one fits and works)
5MDH (Used to own the 6 and 7MDH and they were nice and all..but I found carrying so much gear on one shoulder too much and it gave me pain)

*don't really mind what brand it is as long it fits the criteria*

I don't mind if it's over $100 but definitely under $200. I don't find spending over $200 on a messenger bag worth it because I have and own 3 bags already (Flipside 300, Dakine Sequence 33L and the Canon Rebel bag). Why oh why is it so hard to find a bag that will fit a gripped body for under my budget? Thanks in advance ..sorry I would search more on my own but I've been on this hunt for a week now and it's driving me crazy. Been to eBags, B&H, Adorama, eBay, Amazon, Lowepro's site, TT's site, POTN's search engine, and the list goes on and on. Currently looking at sling bags ..anything. xD

Pick up a Domke F3x. Don't worry about how big it looks on paper - it'll collapse around your gear.

The Classified bags are outstanding. Well designed and protect the gear as much as making access to the gear without taking the bag off your shoulder a cinch.
The 160 is small and will still easily fit all of the gear you mentioned and some.

just a few of my thoughts...

Think Tank Speed Demon or Freak . The smallest of the two should fit your criteria.

Just got my Think Tank retrospective 10 delivered yesterday. So far it looks promising and I would have to say its going to be the most practical bag I've ever owned.

Absolutely LOVE it!

A photograph is like a joke... If you have to explain it to someone, it just really isn't that good

Check out the Domke f-5xb or f-5xa. I just picked up the ruggedwear f-5xb and I'm loving it. Perfect size. I can fit my 5Dii, 50L attached, and 24-70.

I love the LowePro Pro Messenger series, though they may be a bit big for your needs.

Check out my feedback here.
