First Attempt at Water Drop Shots

Figured I'd give it a try, and I liked some of the results a lot. Focusing was tough since I was holding the water dropper myself and using a remote trigger for the camera, but for the first time, I think it went pretty well.

Nice! When I did this I did exactly what you did at first. Then I rigged up something that looked kind of ghetto but WORKED! I just put a little water in a ziplock bag, tied it from the ceiling, and poked a little hole to where I would get a drop every few seconds. (It was dropping down into my aquarium).Then I held a ruler right where the water was falling (since it was the same spot every time) and focused manually. Then shoot away! Much easier than holding the water!

Yeaa I tried doing that at first, but apparently the hole I poked in the ziplock bag was too big and it just poured out and made a mess :oops: So form there I decided that an eye dropper being hand dropped was the way to go for this shoot. I'll give it another go at some point and try to do it more efficiently
