well i hope i am improving with the BIF...these little fella's were crowding each other at the feeder....

Nice shots, I would move the feeder to a sunny spot as this will improve the colours and give you a opportunity to use a faster shutter speed or improved ISO and maybe a less cluttered backdrop.

thank.. i really dont have any other place to hang a feeder except at the end of the garage.. then i wouldnt be able to see them... i will move it there and see how i do for pictures. i took these from the kitchen window...
better suggestions for shutter? ISO? this was set on Manual shutter speed was 1/1250 F40. ISO 800

I maybe wrong but next time if possible i would try and get outside to take the photos, when i had a go at taking my first and only bird photos through a window there were sharp but looked like they were shot through something, as its birds could you not use aperture mode and then seledct F4 then up the Iso till you get a shutter speed that will freeze the bird.
I maybe wrong with these settings as i only ever shoot motorsport and thats what i would do if i a car was heading towards me and i wanted it sharp.

Put the feeder on a bird feeder pole away from the house.
