These are my favorite ducks. I was able to get these images around Christmas time last year. They are quite skittish and take a lot of patience to get close to them, and on top of that, I find them quite hard to expose right. Enjoy!

Beautiful shots. I don't think there's any evidence you had any difficulty exposing them properly ;)

The colors are great. I've yet to even get close to these guys, much less capture one on my sensor. Any tips on how to get close and where to look?

These are fantastic Jason, tough subject to approach. We have them here in good numbers back in the old rice fields/marshes but they're like the Kingfishers of ducks, especially in groups.
