graphics card - 1 or 2GB?

further to an earlier post, i'm buying a new laptop to run Photoshop and Lightroom faster. Not planning to do any video editing.

Have a choice between two Toshiba Satellite models (13" and 14" screens) with a 1gb and 2gb dedicated graphics card respectively. The 14" also has 8gb RAM vs the other's 4gb, but the hard disk is 640gb vs 750gb.

The saving from the 13" option (allowing for the cost of an extra 4gb RAM chip to match the other model) is about A$230. Would like opinions on whether it's worth paying that for the 2gb graphics card, considering the smaller hard disk.

The two graphics cards are nVidia GeForce GT 315M (1gb) and Radeon HD7670M (2gb).

I have a monitor at home, so a larger laptop screen size would only be a plus when on the move.

A better option would be an ssd drive.

The graphics card will make absolutely no difference to LR or Photoshop performance.

Look instead for 8GB of ram and at least an i5 processor, then enough HDD space to hold your work.
