and finally watch your verticals, the house isn't completely perp, so it feels like it's leaning back a bit.

How would one do that without a TS-E when pointing the lens upwards to get more sky?

I like the shot a lot, but also think other colours may have helped more inside :)

Effectively, you're stuck moving the camera back, if you're going to keep the verticals.

But of course, you can always pointing the camera a bit up, knowing that you'll need to remove the distortion in post. Or don't remove the distortion... it's your call. I was just stating that me personally, I recommend doing those things.

Thanks everyone for the great comments and feedback thus far.

Below are two revision taking into account everyone's comments. The most obvious is that I changed the interior color to green which was done in post since I didn't shoot it other than with blue. I considered red also, but green just seemed to work better. I still feel that blue is best, but this isn't bad.

I also cloned out the red lights left of the house and added another layer to the shot which I didn't in my original in which I was standing behind the house with a flashlight and shining it on the chimney to give it the light rays. I toyed with this in the original shot, but ultimately decided to leave it off.

In the bottom shot I adjusted out the keystoning (vertical convergence). Personally, I like it better unadjusted, but since it's being discussed I figured why not. To me, the slant adds to the mystique of the shot which is why I left it that way in the first place. Also, to Todd's point it takes away more of the trees.

I was just wondering what it would be possible to do, as I often have that problem with my 10-22 and tall buildings!

Love this picture. Easily a 10/10 for me.

Motivates me to want to get better

Love the photo. But for me the blue or green is to bright. Gives it that scoobie doo look.

If the inside was just lit enough to know it, I would give it a 10 instead of a 9.5
