Hi all. i have just started this new project of mine where i interact with 100 different people i do not know along the streets of london and ask if i can take there pic.

i started it today(well it took me 2-3 days to have the guts to!) and managed to take 2 out of 3 people i asked.

here are the results.

It's a very interesting project. I have a suggestion for the second shot. I think it would add impact if you cropped the part above her head so that the empty space was cut in half or so. Just my preference, perhaps you intend to have the space above her head that way.

Another idea...since you have them as a set on Flickr, perhaps you could have a little card made up with the web address of the set, and then you could give it to people if they want to see their picture and the project as a whole.

Good job getting out there and doing it. The first few are by far the hardest. I'd recommend you try and place your subjects in the shade like you did in the second shot, as the first shot's lighting is pretty harsh, and made her right eye look odd. The second shot could use a bit of a bump in exposure.

Nice, natural looking image, with an interesting expression on her face.

Cool inspiration! I've been wanting to do this with environmental style portraits, so the viewer can get a greater feel of the environment.
