Hi all,
Up until today I've always relied on ambient light or mounted flash for macro, but I've branched out as I was struggling to get what I wanted.
Please bear in mind these are my first attempts and I still have a lot to learn, but off camera flash seems to be a good thing to me.

All hand held and taken using the Tamron SP90 AF with 380EX speedlite.

The first and third are pretty good, focus is spot on, the overall exposure is good too, though some highlights are blown.
For the second one, not sure what the subject is :P
