I currently have a 430ex II and I am thinking of getting a second flash. Would it be good for some photos to have the 2nd flash? I am trying to decide if I should just get another 430ex II since my 60D acts as a master already and I probably will not benefit from the 580ex II master function.

What do you guys think? Just get another 430ex II or should I get a 580ex II? If you say to get a 580ex II please explain why. THANK YOU!

I had a 580 and 430.
Never used the 430 after I got the 580.
So I sold the 430.
Also have Studio Flash - 3 heads which is the 95 % choice over 580.
3 heads are better than 1.

The 60D on board flash can act as a master but it cannot do high speed sync. I would get a 580EX II to act as a master or try out the new Canon flash if $ is no object.
