Yellow Warbler

Here's a few more of the pics I shot from the same place I took the cedar waxwing pics. This yellow warbler I think likes the reflection of herself in my lens. She would go very close and stare, and then fly. But after a few seconds, she would fly back again and then stare atthe lens again. She did this at least 3 times. Then another yellow warbler came and that's the only time it flew farther away from me.

You are undoubtedly leading a charmed life to get such charming photos; I have yet to get close to one this spring.

My attempts are usually buried in foliage, so nice work on the open air yellow!

These are fabulous! How were you able to get so close that the bird could see her reflection in your lens?

Thanks Al, but the charmed life will be doing nothing except taking pics of birds all over the world :)

Thanks for kind words :). It's pretty close as some of the shots I can't take because its closer than the MFD, so I had to back out a little bit. Tell you honestly, I was really suprised this YW did not mind me at all :)

See! Based upon your Waxwing thread I told you there was reason to look forward to more from your wonderful trail find! This is a lovely little Yellow Warbler Joe and you captured some very nice poses. Keep posting!

Thank you Lil! A friend told me that they also saw some flycathers and chipping sparrows so hopefully the weather clears up so I can come back soon :)
