OK, here goes...
As you said, they are impromptu shots and therefore nothing special, other than the subject. That's why I didn't comment on the pics.
No consideration for depth of field, lighting, background, different perspective, novel angle. More like a drive-by at high speed, take some time to slow down and examine what is there for you. A motorcycle is being worked on, OK. Maybe this is a tutorial or a shot of how something is before it is torn apart so you can remember how to put it back together. Why not ask the owner or mechanic to fiddle with something, proudly stand behind his baby or something.
Certainly a subject worthy of a revisit!
Last 2 shots, the bright orange grinder is drawing my attention away from the bike. The tire is in focus when the gas engine is probably more interesting.
