Here's a shot I took of one of my guitars, a black and white fender stratocaster. Not particularly original, since it's been a million times over, but somehow these detail shots of guitars never get old or boring. Must be part of the charm and beauty of the instrument. I set up the strat by my office window for the natural light look. Enjoy!

i hardly ever play this one, only reason i own it is because my friend gave it to me when he was downsizing. i'm primarily a les paul guy when it comes to tone and feel, but i do like the strat and it's a classic instrument.

yeah i know! i've been considering selling the strat, a budda wah pedal, and an m-audio delta 1010lt i use for recording (along with the mic), considering i've been going full-tilt with photography (i used to play a lot, now i hardly do). but since my friend gave me the strat and the wah pedal, i don't feel ethically comfortable profiting from a gift. he's a photog too, so he may understand lol

Like you said it's about tone and feel....my Les Paul hangs on the wall for the moment as I'm playin' my ES 345 with the band...I need that classic R&B/Blues tone......great guitar but sometimes I need the feel of that long scale.......don
