If you hit the product page there's a high res image showing the RAM and SSD... it's using the same tech as the MBA except they've gone hardcore and built it right into the chassis (the MBA had some leniency where you could swap in more SSD but the mini SSD sticks were insanely priced).

Bright side? The 15" can downscale to 1920x1200 :)

Interesting. I am trying to load it up but it isnt coming up for me. Hmmm. I will have to check that out when i get home.

So are you going for it? ;)

On the phone now with my EPP call centre about a Retina 15 w/ 512ssd and 16gb of memory. I wanted the 768gb but that pushes it to 3-5 weeks build time!

Guess I need to send back the Crucial M4 I bought to put in this thing too lol. Now if only I had a D800 or something to take high res pretty photos for this new display...

Scroll down til you see the back of the laptop, mouse over and it shows the insides. That stuff is visibly attacked to the chassis and it's entire different components too. That memory is DDR3l for low voltage and the SSD appears to be the flash memory wired into the board (no SATA cable links or anything).

Found the actual image. Does look like SSD can be changed but it's MBA style with proprietary connector so big $$$.

The screen is only about 5 MP, might I recommend a Canon 10D with 6.3MP?

Well, not the folks who upgraded to 4S  (unless they want to pay full price) since the iPhone rotation is every year when most phone upgrade contracts are every 1.5 years.

I actually don't want a bigger screen. I like my phone small, it is a phone. If I wanted a big screen I would have gotten an iPad 3... oh wait... I did

Odd that both fans blow out air. I would have though one sucking in and one blowing out would have been a better design.

The air vents are on the side. It's actually a smart design because it creates a very small wave effect and pulls air in from the slats on the side (you can see in the product photos the small slices in the side chassis) which washes over the other components before actively cooling the CPU and GPU. FAR better design than previous models as well and the split heat pipe should help keep things cooler I think.

Same here but, I would like at least a 4.5-5 inch screen. ;)
