Some!? I only see up sides to the military..... It's not for every one tho..... Hard work yes but expect a paycheck no matter what......and travel and health care and housing and stability.... I love It and I will be retired at the age of 38 with full benefits and still super young :)

IDK, I mean if you're in combat (I'm not sure what part of the military you're apart of), but I remember the military were promising checks after the war and weren't paying them out or keeping their promise.

Travel healcare and housing are nice, as far as retiring at 38... I'm not a fan to be honest. You tend to die at an earlier age the earlier you retire plus what could you possibly do with the rest of your life? I mean if I don't have something to consistently do even if I hate it I'm bored and have nothing to do. Plus the reason why some countries are failing miserably is because people are retiring so early (I don't mean to single you out here, Danny, I'm just expressing myself outloud).

awesomeness!!! im going to be stationed on the Island of Okinawa just a ferry ride to the main land and a few hours from the Philippines.... ahh the benefits of being military!

when Clark and Subic were operational multiple MATS flights come to the Philippines from Okinawa, now maybe you can take the nuclear submarines that replenish supplies in Subic :-)

Cheers,

Ah, ok, yeah in all honesty even IF you did stop working I don't see how you could possibly get by without dying of boredom (no pun intended). If you do retire make photography your job ;) that is if you're still into it!

this girl also blocked my view for more than 30 minutes, posing for her friend trying to get a good bikini photo, I finally approached her and told her how to pose, two pix I shot below, she should have her toes closed :-
