I remember being in that situation. It isnt too fun BUT enjoy the time you have now. Practice you're shooting and lighting techniques at home. Make a dummy and see how the light falls on it. Practice different settings.

yeah I know, doesn't help if I don't have strobes. If the soccer dude doesn't get back to me I'm gunna be mad, if he doesn't though and I have money from my 5Dc I'll invest in some lighting stuff.

I miss jones beach concerts....love that place and try to see as much as I can before.
