Take off the 10 stops :-)
are you shooting the moon or the sky? Full moon shots are typically F7 1/320 .

It's actually a landscape with the water and beach included. I can go back and try tomorrow. Judging from the LCD, I'm amazed at how much light the D800 sucks in! And yes the lens helps too. :)

Wow! Total scam. I just go through sites like trulia and realtor.com

are those legit for 3 week type rentals? Most places have no furniture or want monthly terms.

that's sweet! Magnolia is a great place to get cupcakes (if you gain an extra 10 lbs from NYC you know why ;)). You shuold tell them that you would like to do business with them and you are a photographer!

My cupcakes > Magnolia Bakery's. :p

Once you've had great, good just isn't good enough.

Actually... I really only tried like 2 kinds... they were good, what threw me off was I ordered a red velvet and it was red velvet cake with vanilla icing... WTF? Seriously? Red velvet isn't red velvet without cream cheese frosting.

10 mil a year. They really want a replacement Yao Ming. NY will match it though. If they'd made it $12-$14 mil/year, the knicks might have balked.
