my wife used to commute on the LIRR, Penn station also on 35th street, 7th avenue so I only have to ask her to pass at 9th avenue to pick up things for me at B&H...so convenient but must pay sales taxes.

yeah but on used gear with a return policy its hella worth it! I am wondering if they will have those AF nikkor to canon $15 convertor rings, would be rad if they do then I can get the old nikon 135 2.8, they have 3 or 4 in their used department right now. One is super cheap like $300 because its dinged up but if the glass is clean I don't care. And no fungus. Ew. If they will let me pop it on my mark iii to try out and it looks good I'll get it. Too hard to tell online if its not rated 8 or higher.

SO EXCITED!! I will take so many kick a55 pics I hope. With the mark iii and the 40 pancake I think I can do it. Sucks not to have the wide on it but I know I will not be able to lug that with the kids.

In all honesty, coming from a person who loves going to the city and taking people photos (if that's what you're into), make sure you have a 50 which I know you do and an 85! Not an 85L cause I'm sure that's way out of your budget but get an 85 1.8!

Only cause I know it's going to take a little longer to sell off the 5D. I've had 5 or 6 offers on the 50L so far... 5Dc has only gotten 3 and not so serious.

Didn't you just get that 5Dc less than a month ago as a replacement to your 5d2? Have you even gotten the money for the 5d2 yet?

I don't understand your logic behind this. Bring an 85 1.8 and 50L? Why even bother with the 85 1.8? 50L has fast enough focusing that you can get any street shots.

Speaking of which, with the exception of the ugly kid in the background, this show off the lens REALLY well!
