there are a few places in the world that are entertainment capitals, namely: in the USA- Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and seasonally Nashville, ...hey take advantage of shooting red carpet in NY, if interested and you want to work hard I can give you contact info.
I have great connection here in Manila and I can get media passes.
other locations are London and seasonally Cannes etc

Ah ok, yeah I mean I'd love to go to a red carpet event just that I know you need to know connections to get press passes and what not. Honestly I'm wasting my time trying to go after my friends who always cancel on me so at least I'd have a job lined up if I shoot at the red carpet events. Hell, I could slip a celeb my business card

Red carpet events are by invitation only and spaces are allocated and reserved by photo agencies, you need to work for a photo agency to get invited and then stay at the named space in the line.
