Personally I'm okay with them opening the place up to Nikon in general. The domain won't have to be changed, and it'd be nice to have more users. Not looking forward to more flame wars between fanboys though.

Prejudices against Nikon here. We have thousands of picture sharing threads but a Nikon version gets closed. It's rather sad really. "Hate" has many faces.

The mods just don't think that there needs to be more than one dedicated nikon thread.

Hope this is a joke. It started out as a canon-only forum, and has been for the last what, 10 years? So it's no surprise that they're still enforcing that rule.

I'd prefer to keep it as convoluted as possible.

I'm hoping that the new forum which is taking forever btw, will hopefully have a dedicated area for it. In other words, seperation of gear talk, photos, and duscussion.
