OK this is my last post before I finish this Costa Rican series with something very special in Number 15 that I hope you'll enjoy.
1. Blue-crowned Motmot - Hotel Bougainvillea, Santo Domingo
2. Male Red-legged Honeycreeper - Arenal Observatory Lodge. Not the best image but this is a beautiful bird. The underside of its wings are pale yellow but unfortunately I didn't get a photo.

3. Female Orange-bellied Trogon - Bosques de Paz (Cloud Forest)
4. Montezuma Oropendola - - Arenal Observatory Lodge. This corw-sized bird is related to blackbirds and orioles. It nests in colonies and makes large tear-drop nests which it enters from the top.
Here's a multiframe sequence (from Tortuguero National Park) where one bird is bringing nest material back
5. White-tailed Kite on Nest - Hotel Bougainvillea, Santo Domingo. Taken the last night in Costa Rica. She had obviously just fed by the look of her beak.
6. Crested Caracara - Enroute to Tortuguero National Park. My only image of this bird from Costa Rica. I was shooting from the window of the bus as there was no shoulder on the road.

. Love all of them!
