16 day old kittens

At the end of March my sister called and asked if I wanted a kitten and brought me a cute little tuxedo cat. I woke up on the couch on Mother's day to a bunch of crying, and couldn't make much sense of it, and then clued in after I actually shook the grog from my head that this little cat had just had 4 kittens.

Here is a couple of them wobbling around on my couch tonite. They are just starting to be able to stand up without falling over, and have started play fighting too.

Considering how tiny they are they sure move quickly when you are trying to lock in on their tiny little faces.

Probably shoulda sent these through Noise Ninja to clean them up a smidge.

awww so cute!! I love little kitties!!! and the momma gave her self a great mothers day present (sorry she ruined your couch LOL)

My couch is fine, she had them in an old dog bed that was in a corner. Granted momma cat had been sleeping on me earlier that evening. Would that have been a wake up call for me.

The bright spot is I know what day these 4 were born on....LOL

The place where my sister got the cat is a horse farm and they feel bad for dumping a pregnant kitten on me so they are going to help find them homes, and I have been posting pictures of them on facebook as they grow up and sis is sharing those pics too.

I may keep one, as I have a cat that is 18 years old, and don't see him living much longer, so I would be down to two when he passes away.

Make sure you get them all desexed before they go to new homes. There are enough cats in this world already and far too many are being dumped and then put to sleep

Here is momma last night either been asked to sing Soft Kitty or using one of her kittens as a throw pillow.

I was away all day today and gonna shoot some more shots of all of them, as they get more used to being seperated from each other. Once they start crying the mother gets on the couch and thats the end of their solo photo shoots........she is an attention monger
