I am very pleased and haven't experienced hunting in low light. My Tamron 17-50 did it frequently. My replacement lens arrived today. Wow what a difference. Put it on and focused right away and very quiet. Takes very very sharp photos. Very happy right now! The AF occasionally would hunt and never lock on even in good light. Amazon was great and send one overnight. The new lens does not have any problems with AF from what I can tell.
