Can somebody else check to see if the keyboard shortcut (ctl+alt+c) will bring up the canvas resize menu in CS6? It seems I have to press ctl+Windows+alt+c to bring it up.

I'm on Win7, 64bit, CS6. Thanks.

On my Mac it's still Cmd+Opt+C.

Check it by clicking Shift-Cmd-Opt-K (Shift-Ctrl-Alt-K I guess):

Thanks Rene. It shows correct in the Keyboard shortcuts and I haven't noticed any others not working. I deleted it, restarted CS6, and verified it no longer showed up in the Keyboard shortcuts. I tried to put it back in and it would not accept ctl+alt+c as a valid shortcut. It would accept it when I added the Windows key qualifier.

I do have a post over at Adobe and it works under Windows 8 and now you show it working ok with a Mac.

Am I the only person running CS6 under Windows 7 64bit? If anybody could verify that ctl+alt+c actually brings up the Canvas Size menu would be much appreciated.

Is there by any chance a Windows shortcut Ctrl-Alt-C? That could interfere.

(Example: To use Cmd-Opt-D for "feather" in PS, I have to change the default OSX shortcut to "hide/reveal Dock")

Good question. It's not one that I'm familiar with and it doesn't show up in a list from MS. It works under the CS6 Beta on my old XP machine. I can't be certain, but I believe I used it running the Beta on this pc (Win7 64bit) although the old brain is not sure.

Hopefully, someone running W7 will check it and let me know.

Win 7 & CS6

I'm not getting too many responses in this thread https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1191149 and thought the title might be the reason.

If you're running Windows 7 64bit and CS6 could you take a minute and check if the keyboard shortcut ctl+alt+c actually brings up the Canvas resize menu? If it doesn't, try adding the Windows key and see if it works.

Thanks.

Yep, same here although only if i have a image loaded first.

Cant you just go and change the title of your first thread rather than opening another thread? It would have been easier.

Thanks for checking. I'll have to do some digging. Funny, that seems to be the only keyboard shortcut screwed up.

I think a Mod is the only one that can do that.

No problem.
I dont use PS but ive learned at least one new shortcut today lol.

to edit your thread title just go to edit the first post, then choose Go Advanced, that will let you change the title.
I expect the Mods can merge the two if you wanted them to.

Thanks, I never had noticed/paid attention that you could change the thread title so I learned something as well.

Good luck with the key strokes.

Thanks, always good to learn something! I'm a big user of keyboard shortcuts and this one is not one I use very often. Adding the Windows key makes it work, so at least I know a work-around for the few times I will use it. Of course, that depend on my remembering system, lol.

It works fine for me on my desktop and Laptop that are installed with CS6 Web Design Premium suite and it also works on another desktop that I still have the beta installed on. Running Windows 7 on them all.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Thanks for checking Sheldon. I've got something on this pc (only about 6 weeks old) that is taking ownership of that keystroke combo. I've been checking and in MS Word ctl+alt+c should make the copyright symbol. It doesn't, but if I add the Windows key to the combo it works fine. I only have OnOne and Topaz plugins and neither of them use the keystroke combo. At least I now know it's not CS6 and Win7.
