Have only seen the kingfisher once but never had camera with me, is the location secret as I would love to get the chance to photograph this beauty.

Cheers all, these are my first real outing with the 5Dmk3 they are all about 60-70% crops so I'm very happy with it so far with the results

Ace, man. One of my favourite birds. And I know of a reserve that has loads of them in the UK :) (though I didn't see one on the day I went)

The reason why they are my favourites, is because they are so colourful and being a British bird, that is swell. Nice captures

Excellent work. I would be seriously obsessed with these birds if we had them here.

Keep 'em coming, the 5D III is proving to be a great bird photography option.
