Wish I could have gotten closer or had a better lens. But I'm still pretty happy with these results.

Yaquina Head is awesome for photographing seabirds. You should come shoot at Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach, even better (and closer) opportunities at low tide

And they aren't Seagulls, they're Gulls

These shots remind me of my visit to Witless Bay Marine Bird Sanctuary in Newfoundland.

Nice place to make photos. I especially like the last.

If they were, then they would be Franklin’s Gulls.

I would say that they are much more interesting, then a common gull. Pretty cool shots.
